The Herb Boutique Sweet Jasmine Body Polish

The Herb Boutique Sweet Jasmine Body Polish

Sweet jasmine, a name of a product which much appreciates my love for this divinely scented flower. And I always find myself hunting for bath and body products either in rose or jasmine. Over the years after trying so many varieties of products in these scents, now I can make out the fragrance of an essential oil or a synthetic one. I have been sharing some of The Herb Boutique's products on my blog and today is the turn of this body polish. It is 100% organic, vegan and cruelty free.

The best artisan filter coffee

I used to stay in Bangalore for some time of my life. And oh, there are so many things which Southern parts of India made me love. The places, the people and most importantly the food. I truly miss the idlis and crispy dosas for breakfast. The murukkus and banana chips especially the ones fried in coconut oil, for snacking on. The Coorgi panni curry which a colleague of mine used to get for lunch, the avial, pongal, sambhar and so many other deliciousness. And off course tumblers and tumblers of strong filter coffee, which the MDP counter at my office got me addicted to. When I left Bangalore, I knew one thing for sure that I just cannot leave without the good old filter coffee, filter kaafi more precisely. So along with all the treats and things that I could pack with me, I did buy a stainless steel traditional pot filters and packets and packets of filter coffee that came along with me to Kolkata.

Lass Naturals Coconut & Jasmine Body Butter Review

Lass Naturals Coconut & Jasmine Body Butter Review

I have used quite a few products from Lass Naturals by now and some had worked really well for me and some may be not so much. This body butter is the last of all the products which were sent to me this summer. I had used this during summer and then kept aside to use over the winters, more because the texture of it I felt was way too heavy for summers. But do I feel the same way even now ? Today's post is all about this paraben and mineral oil free body butter.

The Nature's Co Garlic Anti Acne Cream Review

The Nature's Co Garlic Anti Acne Cream Review

Gosh, my last post was such a long time ago, more than a week I would say. If you have read it, if not then read it here,  you might remember that I mentioned about an hero product for acne. If you have acne, mild ones, the moderate ones or even the horrendous cystic ones which leaves behind the pitted scars from hell ! Then stick on, do not close the browser, this is a post for you.

Just Herbs Kimsukadi Tail Review

Just Herbs Kimsukadi Tail Review

On my last post I talked about a body oil which I am in love with currently, and today I am going to talk about a facial oil. But am I blindly in love with it ? I am getting to that little bit later. This facial oil is a relatively new launch from Just Herbs, and they had sent this as a nomination in Harper Bazaar's India Beauty Awards. I got my hands on this as soon as it launched somewhere around October first week. And have been using this ever since. Its all natural and natural ingredients does takes time to work their charm on your skin. 2 months is fairly a good amount of time to judge a product don't you think ? It's time to let you all know my honest thoughts about this and how this actually performs.

The Herb Boutique Pink Rouge Body Oil

The Herb Boutique Pink Rouge Body Oil

I am not an all year around body oil user. Its something that I only use during the winters that too just before taking a bath. It's more of an habit that I have grown into since my childhood all thanks to my mother who made sure that we were all messaged well with a body oil before taking a shower. As I grew older, the habit grew with me. Also the preferences of oil changed as well, from Jac Olivol body oil, to more fancy ones from Ananda Spa or something like the one I am going to talk about today.

Xmas fruit cake mix recipe

Xmas fruit cake mix recipe

I love cooking, more so baking. Whatever the reason be, the festival be or even my mood be, one would always find me dilly dallying in the kitchen. Though each festivals has its own charm and joy, Christmas is somewhat special. I think for a Bengali, Christmas is the next favorite festival after Durga Puja. There is no Bengali whom I know, would not buy Christmas fruit cake on Christmas eve. You would find long queues in Flurys, Nahoums, Great Eastern Bakery for their share of the fruit cake, and mind you most of them are Bengalis.
