Just Herbs 8 in 1 Amla Neem Shampoo and Kumuda silicone free hair conditioner
Out of many things, the one which I like the most about Just herbs is their generosity in giving out samples to their customer. I have purchased so many products from them and loved most of them. In all those purchases also came along tiny little bottles filled with something which I have not tried before. In my recent purchase Just Herbs had sent me samples of their 8 in 1 Root Nourishing Amla Neem Shampoo and the Kumuda Silicone free hair conditioner. I did try their other shampoo called Lush earlier when I was not blogging and I really liked it. But this variants was in my "Next try" list and good that I got a sample of it.

Just Herbs 8 in 1 Root Nourishing Amla Neem Shampoo
Just Herbs 8 in 1 Root Nourishing Amla Neem Shampoo ( Rs 475 for 200 ml) :

I got 30 ml of product which lasted me for 3 washes. And I am writing this review based on those three washes. The shampoo is a pale green in color and has a faint floral fragrance. This has quite a runny consistency, and it is not at all a gel like and thick. I take the desired quantity and dilute in three parts water, and use that to wash my hair. This does not lathers much like any of the SLS/SLeS shampoos, in fact it lathers less than even the Rustic Art shampoos which is a sulphate free. But lathers more than the Soultree ones. So I end up using a little more quantity than I would normally use. The shampoo does clean my hair, gets all the dirt and grime. It does not dry out my hair at all. I quite like it. This is very gentle and mild, does not irritate scalp. The only problem is I end up using more quantity as this lathers less.

I have been sulphate free for a very long time now, so my hair is already adjusted to gentle and mild cleansers. But if you are someone who is using sulphate free shampoos for the first time, these shampoos would not give you super shine and brilliance which comes from the silicones present in most drugstore shampoos. This would clean your hair and that's it. My friend at office bought the full sized bottle of this and she is absolutely loving it. This is the first time she had gone sulphate free and she told me that all her itchiness on scalp is gone and hair fall is not much as compared to her previous SLS containing shampoo. So this is definitely a winner.

Kumuda Indian White Water Lily silicone free hair conditioner

Kumuda Indian White Water Lily silicone free hair conditioner ( Rs 595 for 200 ml) :

Again I do not use any silicone containing hair products. Since the day I have stopped, my hair quality has improved a lot. At first it did require some adjusting but now it is fine. Till now, I have been using the Soultree Hibiscus hair conditioner which I quite like.

The Just Herbs one is white is color, looks and feels almost like an oil free moisturizer. It has a mild floral fragrance same as the Kumuda shower gel which I like. None of the fragrance of Just Herbs products are over powering which I really love. The conditioner spreads on to hair well and somehow gets vanished into the hair strands. The hair just soaks all up. I keep it on some some time and then wash off. After wash my hair does not slippery like silicone conditioner, neither super shiny and weighed down like the silicone conditioner. My hair feels moisturized and healthy which I like. Though in their website, Just Herbs claims that this reduces hair fall, but honestly I have not noticed any.

Also, I have noticed that there is a "coming soon" mentioned in Just Herbs website for this product. So may be they are still fine tuning it. I do not know for sure if this is the final product. But till what i have used, I quite like it, it detangles and makes my hair healthy and that all matters to me.

Overall, these are some really decent products which are harmful chemicals free and quite gentle on hair and skin. Definitely a must try. I am going to purchase the full sized ones.
