Forest Essentials Floral Makeup Remover Review
Girls, how have you all been. This week, an accident came knocking on my door while returning from office and gifted me 10 stitches on my feet. I am confined to my bed and have been absolutely immobile till yesterday with terrible pain. Today, I am feeling a lot better so thought of writing and connecting with you all. Today I am going to share with you another Forest Essential product which I am loving a lot and I think it to be decently priced too. It's their Floral Makeup Remover. I got to know about this from Shayoni's blog and had to try.

I love oils as makeup remover, I had always been using almond oil or baby oil to remove eye makeup. And in bi-phase removers The Body Shop Chamomile Waterproof eye and lip makeup remover is my favorite one.

Packaging ~

What I do not like about the packaging is, this should have come with a dropper nozzle head. It comes with a leak proof  pressed cap which is not very convenient to remove all the time using your nails and then pour in product. You can see that I had to punch holes to get product out. Else but these has a slender and elegant packaging.

Ingredients ~

I love the fact that this has no presence of mineral oils, neither it has any harmful chemicals. It looks like an oil in oil bi-phase remover. There are heavier oils which lies submerged in the bottom while the lighter oils floats atop. Added Vitamin E is a bonus. One needs to shake the bottle to mix all oils properly before use.

Color, texture and fragrance ~

This is a lightweight yellow colored oil with an amber colored heavier oils sinking at the bottom. This has a mild jasmine fragrance which I love and it is not at all over powering for the nose. The oil does not feel heavy on skin at all.

Price ~
Rs 495 for 100ml

So here is my Delailah Test with this makeup Remover. For the curious souls, Delailah is my special friend who visits me occasionally and helps me out in testing makeup remover. She wears most notorious of makeups like matte foundation, waterproof mascara, smudge proof kajals, matte lipsticks, long lasting eye shadows and blush etc. I pour couple of drops of this makeup remover on her and gently rub in circular motion. What I noticed it, this removes all kinds of makeup very effortlessly, but I did require to rub in for quite some time to remove the Maybelline Falsies Mascara. By the way TBS Chamomile Waterproof makeup remover removes the Falsies Mascara like a dream, with out much rubbing action. The more you rub, the more tendencies are there for you to hurt your lashes and they might fall off. So when I am wearing very dramatic waterproof mascara, I use the TBS one.

I have very sensitive skin, and this remover being an oil based one has not broken me out. Neither did this irritated my eyes and made them cry. If you have oily skin. you would have to wash off your face with a gentle cleanser afterwards because some residual oil does stays behind. The remover is best removed by a moist cotton wool.

Overall, I feel that from FE whose most products are exuberantly priced, this one is fairly priced for the quantity and quality given. A gentle, all natural, chemical free and cruelty free makeup remover that you can try and would not feel that you have wasted your money.
