Makeup Revolution Haul

Makeup revolution has become almost a cult favorite with all the beauty bloggers and make up artists all over the world. This not too old brand has great dupes of some of the luxury makeup products which are too expensive to buy. I have been eyeing Makeup revolution for quite some time and this time I just could not resist but gave into the temptation. Did you know makeup revolution even has an Indian online store, but I ordered the products from Makeup Revolution UK online store. I ordered on 12th November and the package came to me on 27th Nov. It was bubble wrapped and packaged in a plastic bag. I wish they had packed in a card board box.

First, lets see what I got ...

Makeup Revolution I Heart Chocolate Palette

Makeup Revolution I heart Chocolate Palette ( 7.99 GBP)

I so loved the shades of the Too faced Chocolate Bar which retails for $49, a very expensive one don't you think. And the Makeup Revolution one is the shade to shade dupe of it. Many of the Youtubers have even said that some of the shades in the Makeup Revolution one is even better than the Too faced one. I would have never spend $49 on an eye shadow palette. So Makeup Revolution one it is. The same one in the Indian website retails for Rs 1550.

Makeup Revolution Iconic Pro 1 ( 6.99 GBP)

Lorac Pro 1 Palette again was on my wish list. And the Makeup Revolution one is almost shade to shade dupe of it which retails for $42. The same one in the Indian website retails for Rs 1450. If you know Lorac Palettes the top row is matte colors while the bottom one is with added glitters. The Makeup Revolution one is exactly the same.

Makeup Revolution Blush Platte Sugar and Spice

Makeup Revolution Blush Palette in Sugar and Spice ( 6 GBP)

Honestly I am not aware if this one is a dupe of any high end blush palette. But since I am not a person who would purchase different kind of blushes from different brand, this palette looked very affordable and convenient to me. It has some lovely shades and have great reviews on it too. The same one in the Indian website retails for Rs 1350.  What I did not like is I can see some scratches on the palette almost like cracks in the packaging.

Makeup Revolution The One Blush Stick in Matte Malibu

Makeup Revolution The One Blush Stick in Matte Malibu ( 5 GBP)

The One Blush stick is again a dupe of the Nars Multiple stick which retails for $39. So I purchased the Makeup Revolution one. I got it to contour or bronze my face. What I am so sad about is the product came broken to me. The stick was stuck on the top cap and I had to tap the head multiple times to get the stick to its holder at the bottom. Really disappointed with this. This product is not available in the Indian website by the way.

So my total amount with shipping was 35.93 GBP which is Rs 3614 and I had to pay Rs 1133 as custom duty. So my total amount for all these products were Rs 4747.

If I had to purchase these from India website, it would have costed me ( Rs 1550 + 1450 + Rs 1350 ) = Rs 4350. This amount does not include the the price of the One Blush Stick which is not available in the Indian website. If I include suppose Rs 1200 for it. Then my total amount in Indian website would have been Rs 5550.

So I got all the products a lot cheaper when bought from the UK. I did not like the fact that two of the products came to me a bit broken.

What do you think girls, shall I ignore this fact and order from the UK store for my next purchase ( from where I am getting the product a bit cheaper when ordered in bulk) or try the Indian website of the brand. Let me know in the comments below.

Have a nice weekend All.
