Fab India Lemon and Mint Foot Scrub Review and Swatch
Hey All, Hope you all had an amazing Diwali. I had a safe one, I flew sky lanterns which eco friendly and animals friendly. No furry friends ran for cover for this. I steer clear of any noisy and polluting fire crackers. Doing my part to save the environment I guess.

As winter chills sets in and feet starts to get even more drier so weekly scrubbing is a must. Today, I am going to share with you my views on this foot scrub from Fab India.

Packaging ~

The product comes in a little plastic tub. You need to scoop out the product to use it. I am not very finicky about this coming in tub, because anyways these are meant to be for feet.

Texture ~

The product is extremely waxy and sticky with actual salt in it. The salt is very coarse and acts as a great scrubber. I got the tub in half being lemony yellow in color and other half being white. I am sure this is a miss in packaging. I do not see the point why a product would be half and half.

Ingredients ~

As there is no presence of water based ingredients hence no parabens as preservatives which is great. I love that there are so many moisturizing ingredients added. I have been using the product for quite some time now and I have not seen the salt to melt inside the tub.

Price : Rs 180 for 50gm
Available across all Fab India Store

My Experience ~

First day when I used it, I had soaked my feet in hot water and then took out some scrub and tried to scrub my wet feet. And it was a major mistake. The salt melted without doing any exfoliation and as I had taken way too much product, my feet turned super oily, waxy which eventually I had to wash off with soap. Hence ended up with no exfoliation and no moisturisation.

Next time onward I applied the product directly on my haggard dry feet. An boy oh boy, how great it was. The salt did excellent exfoliation, and all the oils, butter and waxes made my feet so so soft. I did not really need to soak my feet in hot water afterwards. But the product was not able to scrape off all the hard dry skin from my heels. So what I do now, is soak my feet in hot water for a bit to soften the dead skin and then pat it dry with a towel, thereafter scrub with this product and wash off with lukewarm water. The scrub feels great, smells refreshing with the lemony scent and I do not require to apply foot cream or moisturizer separately. This does the job extremely well. But for the summer, I think this is going to feel a bit too heavy on the skin unless you have extremely dry feet like me.

Overall, if you are looking for a really heavy duty good quality foot scrubber for this winter, look no further, you can definitely get this. This is the best one I have used till date and probably going to use for a very long time unless I come across something new.
